OUR TEAM OF BLOCKHEADS
Directors and Partners
The Ligo Team
The five directors at Ligo have been hard at work preparing the company to go public. While they may have started the company, they could not continute without the partnership of some brilliant help. We are proud to introduce you to our Ligo league!
DAVID COOPER, B.SC.
DIRECTOR, CHIEF SOFTWARE ENGINEER
David is a renaissance man when it comes to technology, with expertise in everything from embedded applications to multi-tier distributed client-server systems. This isn't his first entrepreneurial rodeo: this Albertan lives and breathes both tech and business.
MICHAEL FOX, M.Sc.
DIRECTOR, LEAD MATHEMAGICIAN
Michael started in math-physics but then became a probabilist (what are the odds!). He specializes in probability, statistics, survey methods, discrete math, graph theory and data analysis. In his spare time, he plays with game theory. He's super fun like that.
DIRECTOR, LEAD SOLUTION ARCHITECT
Paul brings a wealth of experience to our team in the areas of compliance, data collection and integration, and security. Our favourite Yorkshireman fell in love with a Canadian girl 30 years ago and has never looked back.
DIRECTOR, LEAD DEVELOPER
Vivian is the fastest coder in the world wild west, had her (first) 10,000 hours of coding practice done by age 16, and knows more tech languages than anyone we know. She can turn any behemoth problem into artful code.
DIRECTOR, LEAD TECHNICAL ARCHITECT
Arek brings over twenty-five years of experience in IT development and architecture. His love of performance tuning goes beyond server environments: the only time this guy gets up early is when he's revving his car at the race track.
RUTH BANKEY, PhD
LEAD RESEARCH AND ETHICS OFFICER
Ruth is a researcher and ethicist focusing on how datasets, projects and organizations can be analyzed in order to develop ethical and practical tools and strategies. She comes by her creative solutions honestly: she's an avid collector and maker of art.
TAX COMPLIANCE AND ARCHITECTURE
Richard brings expertise in the design and development of trading systems for financial markets, in particular, foreign exchange markets. Richard could talk about money and taxes and trading all day. We're happy he has an outlet for it now.
ANU PINNAMANENI, B.Com, PMP
LEAD PROJECT MANAGER AND SOLUTIONS DELIVERY
Anu specializes in managing and delivering complex custom software solutions and systems integration projects for both public and private sectors. When she's not keeping us all in line, she participates in hackathons whenever she can.
GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS
With 20+ years experience on some of the largest Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in Canada, our tall Dutchman is also a SAS god, and world Scrabble champion. When he's not getting a triple-triple, he's telling you where to go AND how to get there.
Samantha started off with English and French (vive le Canada!) and later added Japanese, Spanish, Welsh, Cree, and German. She loves both Qs and As and can make the most difficult things sound simple. Send your Ligo Qs to her at firstname.lastname@example.org

We at Ligo Ledger Incorporated are very cognizant of the fact that there are many companies that are going through an ITO or ICO process currently, and you have a choice in where you put your funding. We are using the ITO process to raise funds for a company that is providing a tax compliance solution for every single user of cryptocurrency. We want to keep it legal, so you can keep it legal.

Although Ligo is not a security, it is an entry point to a very important part of the blockchain financial marketplace, namely, taxes. It makes use of blockchain technology in a unique way to ensure that you can see and voluntarily comply with the regulations of the location where you work, play, and do business. As the marketplace increases, we expect that regulation will be developed that further make our products a complete suite of solutions for all tax issues related to cryptocurrency. If everyone joins in and uses our tools in the global marketplace we think that means value for you, the contributor.
Ligo gives you the tools to calculate the tax obligations on your cryptocurrency transactions, as accurately as possible based on information provided by the user as well as how well-defined a country’s regulations are at the time of each transaction. While Ligo will strive to be accurate as possible, the responsibility of correctly submitting your taxes is up to you.
